The weekend of 26th & 27th May saw Groove Temple at one of their favourite haunts, Obrien's Hotel at Narooma...And no they didn't catch any Marlin, they didn't even have fish and chips for lunch, but the locals sure caught some tunes at their "local" whilst Groove Temple rocked the house. It seems the band had stored up some juice by Saturday because they started by literally blowing the circuit boards in the pub, then proceeding to pack the dance floor and blow the audience away. It was a good night.

The band is looking forward to a big weekend starting Thursday 2nd June at the Dandaloo at Dapto, then next day they're off to the Riverina at Groves Star Hotel, Tumut for Friday and Saturday night. It should be good catching up with "Scott" and "Halp" at the Star and maybe creating a little havoc.

"There's beer in that town and someone's gotta drink it" Says Glenn, Groove Temple Drummer. "There's chicken too!!" Says DR K (Guitar).

Groove Temple went "old school" on the weekend. A more mature audience was present on Saturday at the Shoalhaven Heads Bowling & Recreation club, so Groove Temple rolled out some classic old school to rock the dance floor. "The floorboards really were bouncing....not a bad night at all" says Ang lead vocalist and "...surprising really, even the twenty somethings liked it."

This weekend on the 28th May, Groove Temple is back to Obrien's Hotel Narooma, "a great town where we're always made to feel welcome. We're going to catch a marlin....each!"

Groove Temple stormed the South Coast on the weekend, playing the Husky Pub, Huskisson on Friday 13th May. It's always great to go back to Husky and there were still a lot of tourists around for this time of year. A great vibe! We hope the audience enjoyed themselves as much as we did! Saturday 14th May was at the Grand Hotel, Kiama. Groove Temple does not endorse dancing on the bar at the Grand, but it is funny to watch and has always been a bit of a tradition at the Grand. Also there would have been some sore heads on Sunday morning, particularly one young bloke from nearby Shellharbour! Somebody had a very big night!

The band is looking forward to playing at the Shoalhaven Heads Bowling & Recreation Club on Saturday 21st May. The food is so good and the staff always seem to have a good time. See you at the Headies on Saturday.

Groove Temple played at the Nowra Ex Servicemens club on Saturday just gone and it was by all accounts a successful night. Very busy and the dance floor was packed all night. DJ Danny spun some cool tunes and helped keep the vibe going all night. The PA was cranked to the max to get through the room. They really love to funk it up down there!

This weekend of the 13th and 14th of May will be at Huskisson at the "Husky Pub" for Friday 13th and at Kiama at the Grand Hotel (Top of the hill). Groove temple are looking forward to a weekend of movin' & groovin'. See you there.

Groove Temple News

The weekend of 29 April saw Groove Temple at the Sussex Inlet RSL. As usual the locals put on a pretty good show. Most entertaining. Groove Temple extends a special "hello" to the dedicated party animals from Campbelltown, especially to the guy who felt the need to lick one of the guitar pedals. He was, well....different.

This weekend on Saturday 7th May will be one of Groove Temple's favourite gigs, the Nowra Ex servo's. Lots of dancers and lots of disco. Usually a big night and big crowds. Come along if you need to party. Everybody dances here, even the chef. The disco starts at 9:00pm and Groove Temple kicks off at 10:00pm. See you there.
